G2LD worked on the renovations of the public ground floor spaces for this 55-story downtown Houston office tower. The design team’s scope included new lighting, finishes, and hospitality-inspired furnishings. A 32’x18’ LED display, the largest of its kind in downtown Houston, is the centerpiece of the renovation and draws on digital art contributions from influential visual and performing arts institutions, non-profits, universities, and even NASA. Keeping direct light off of the screen was a key concern in order to increase visibility.
